وَمِنْهُم
And from them
مَّن
are some who
يَنظُرُ
look
إِلَيْكَ
at you.
ۚ
أَفَأَنتَ
Are you to
تَهْدِى
give directions to
ٱلْعُمْىَ
the blind,
وَلَوْ
while it is that
كَانُوا۟
they are
لَا
not
يُبْصِرُونَ
who have vision.
١٠
٤٣
وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَنظُرُ إِلَيْكَ ۚ أَفَأَنتَ تَهْدِى ٱلْعُمْىَ وَلَوْ كَانُوا۟ لَا يُبْصِرُونَ
And from them are some who look at you. Are you to give directions to the blind, while it is that they are not who have vision.

And of them is he who looketh toward thee. But canst thou guide the blind even though they see not?

Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
the One

يَظْلِمُ

ٱلنَّاسَ

شَيْـًۭٔا

وَلَٰكِنَّ
but rather
ٱلنَّاسَ
the populace
أَنفُسَهُمْ
themselves are
يَظْلِمُونَ
the unjust ones.
١٠
٤٤
إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَظْلِمُ ٱلنَّاسَ شَيْـًۭٔا وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱلنَّاسَ أَنفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ
Indeed the One not does injustice to the populace of a thing, but rather the populace themselves are the unjust ones.

Lo! Allah wrongeth not mankind in aught; but mankind wrong themselves.

ٱلنَّهَارِ
the day-burst,
يَتَعَارَفُونَ
getting to know each other
بَيْنَهُمْ
amongst themselves;

قَدْ
certainly
خَسِرَ
lost
ٱلَّذِينَ
the ones who
كَذَّبُوا۟
contradicted
بِلِقَآءِ
regarding meeting
ٱللَّهِ
the One
وَمَا
and not
كَانُوا۟
they were
مُهْتَدِينَ
guided ones.
١٠
٤٥
وَيَوْمَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ كَأَن لَّمْ يَلْبَثُوٓا۟ إِلَّا سَاعَةًۭ مِّنَ ٱلنَّهَارِ يَتَعَارَفُونَ بَيْنَهُمْ ۚ قَدْ خَسِرَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِلِقَآءِ ٱللَّهِ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ مُهْتَدِينَ
And on day they will be collected, (it would be as if it) was not they were ocupied except an hour from the day-burst, getting to know each other amongst themselves; certainly lost the ones who contradicted regarding meeting the One and not they were guided ones.

And on the day when He shall gather them together, (when it will seem) as though they had tarried but an hour of the day, recognising one another, those will verily have perished who denied the meeting with Allah and were not guided.

On the day He will gather them [it will be] as if they had not remained [in the world] except for an hour of the day getting acquainted with one another. They are certainly losers who deny the encounter with Allah, and they are not guided.

On the day when they will be resurrected, their worldly life will seem to them only as an hour of a day and they all will recognize each other. Those who called the receiving of mercy from God a lie are certainly lost. They did not have the right guidance.

(آج یہ دُنیا کی زندگی میں مست ہیں) اور جس روز اللہ اِن کو اکٹھا کرے گا تو (یہی دُنیا کی زندگی اِنہیں ایسی محسُوس ہوگی) گویا یہ محض ایک گھڑی بھر آپس میں جان پہچان کرنے کو ٹھیرے تھے (اس وقت تحقیق ہو جائے گا کہ) فی الواقع سخت گھاٹے میں رہے وہ لوگ جنہوں نے اللہ کی ملاقات کو جھٹلایا اور ہرگز وہ راہِ راست پر نہ تھے

Whether We let thee (O Muhammad) behold something of that which We promise them or (whether We) cause thee to die, still unto Us is their return, and Allah, moreover, is Witness over what they do.

Whether We show you a part of what We promise them, or take you away [before that], [in any case] their return will be to Us and Allah will be witness to what they do.

And for every nation there is a messenger. And when their messenger cometh (on the Day of Judgment) it will be judged between them fairly, and they will not be wronged.

And they say: When will this promise be fulfilled, if ye are truthful?

Say: I have no power to hurt or benefit myself, save that which Allah willeth. For every nation there is an appointed time. When their time cometh, then they cannot put it off an hour, nor hasten (it).

Say: Have ye thought: When His doom cometh unto you as a raid by night, or in the (busy) day; what is there of it that the guilty ones desire to hasten?

This website is a work of passion. It exists only for a couple of reasons:

1) I wanted to understand the Book without involving any second-party sources of guidance i.e. exegesis, or Asbab-e-Nuzul, or extra-Quranic ahadith, etc.
2) You must also know what the bare truth is, so we can work together.

Because the process must be transparent, the entire website is available for you to download. You can go through the code, and if you can make any improvements to this process, you are most welcome to. It is a humble request to update me regarding the improvements so I can also update myself.




Due Credits:

This website was possible by help of many people and forums who helped me to learn Arabic, Philosophy, Law, Psychology, and PHP and other Web scripts. To be honest, I do not even know the names of many but I did learn from them. Some of these people were already dead by the time I read their input.

The entire code of this website is available for the same reason, that what they taught me, I can only pay it forward.


The Arabic text of the Quran was obtained from Tanzil. The additional translations were also obtained from Tanzil from this link.

The social-sharing images of verses were obtained from Legacy Quran.com, and were then resized for proper social-media display.
