وَقَالُوا۟
And they say,
لَوْلَآ
[How come not
أُنزِلَ
has sent down
عَلَيْهِ
upon him
مَلَكٌۭ
malakun?]
ۖ
وَلَوْ
And if
أَنزَلْنَا
We decended
مَلَكًۭا
malakan
لَّقُضِىَ
to execute
ٱلْأَمْرُ
the command,
ثُمَّ
then
لَا
not
يُنظَرُونَ
they will be considered.
٦
٨
وَقَالُوا۟ لَوْلَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيْهِ مَلَكٌۭ ۖ وَلَوْ أَنزَلْنَا مَلَكًۭا لَّقُضِىَ ٱلْأَمْرُ ثُمَّ لَا يُنظَرُونَ And they say, [How come not has sent down upon him malakun?] And if We decended malakan to execute the command, then not they will be considered.

They say: Why hath not an angel been sent down unto him? If We sent down an angel, then the matter would be judged; no further time would be allowed them (for reflection). - Pickthall, Marmaduke

They have said, [Why has not an angel come to him (Muhammad)?] Had We sent an angel to them, the matter would have inevitably been out of their hands, and they would have been given no more time. - Sarwar, Muhammad

اور یہ کہتے ہیں کہ ان پر مُلکُ کیوں نہیں نازل ہوتا حالانکہ ہم ملُک نازل کردیتے تو کام کا فیصلہ ہوجاتا اور پھر انہیں کسی طرح کی مہلت نہ دی جاتی - Jawadi, Zeeshan

کہتے ہیں کہ اس نبی پر کوئی فرشتہ کیوں نہیں اتارا گیا اگر کہیں ہم نے فرشتہ اتار دیا ہوتا تو اب تک کبھی کا فیصلہ ہو چکا ہوتا، پھر انہیں کوئی مہلت نہ دی جاتی - Maududi, Abul A'ala
