مِن
(Has been) from
قَبْلُ
before
هُدًۭى
a guidance
لِّلنَّاسِ
for the people,
وَأَنزَلَ
and descended
ٱلْفُرْقَانَ
the Distinguisher;
ۗ
إِنَّ
surely
ٱلَّذِينَ
the ones who
كَفَرُوا۟
are in denial
بِـَٔايَٰتِ
regarding signs of
ٱللَّهِ
the One
لَهُمْ
for them is
عَذَابٌۭ
punishment of
شَدِيدٌۭ
great magnitude;
ۗ
وَٱللَّهُ
and the One is
عَزِيزٌۭ
strong,
ذُو
having
ٱنتِقَامٍ
vengeance.
٣
٤
مِن قَبْلُ هُدًۭى لِّلنَّاسِ وَأَنزَلَ ٱلْفُرْقَانَ ۗ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌۭ شَدِيدٌۭ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَزِيزٌۭ ذُو ٱنتِقَامٍ (Has been) from before a guidance for the people, and descended the Distinguisher; surely the ones who are in denial regarding signs of the One for them is punishment of great magnitude; and the One is strong, having vengeance.

Aforetime, for a guidance to mankind; and hath revealed the Criterion (of right and wrong). Lo! those who disbelieve the revelations of Allah, theirs will be a heavy doom. Allah is Mighty, Able to Requite (the wrong). - Pickthall, Marmaduke

before as guidance for mankind, and He has sent down the Criterion. Indeed, there is a severe punishment for those who deny the signs of Allah, and Allah is all-mighty, avenger. - Qarai, Ali Quli

Surely they who disbelieve in the communications of Allah they shall have a severe chastisement; and Allah is Mighty, the Lord of retribution. - Shakir, Habib

اس سے پہلے لوگوں کے لئے ہدایت بنا کر اور حق و باطل میں فرق کرنے والی کتاب بھی نازل کی ہے بیشک جو لوگ آیااُ الٰہی کا انکار کرتے ہیں ان کے واسطے شدید عذاب ہے اور خدا سخت انتقام لینے والا ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اور اس نے وہ کسوٹی اتاری ہے (جو حق اور باطل کا فرق د کھانے والی ہے) اب جو لوگ اللہ کے فرامین کو قبول کرنے سے انکار کریں، ان کو یقیناً سخت سزا ملے گی اللہ بے پناہ طاقت کا مالک ہے اور برائی کا بدلہ دینے والا ہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

لوگوں کو راہ دکھاتی اور فیصلہ اتارا، بیشک وہ جو اللہ کی آیتوں سے منکر ہوئے ان کے لئے سخت عذاب ہے اور اللہ غالب بدلہ لینے والا ہے، - Ahmed Raza
