وَٱتَّخَذُوا۟
And they take
مِن
from
دُونِهِۦٓ
inferior to Him,
ءَالِهَةًۭ
masters who
لَّا
cannot
يَخْلُقُونَ
create
شَيْـًۭٔا
a thing,
وَهُمْ
whereas they
يُخْلَقُونَ
themselves are the created ones,
وَلَا
and not
يَمْلِكُونَ
they have capacity
لِأَنفُسِهِمْ
for themselves
ضَرًّۭا
of harm
وَلَا
nor
نَفْعًۭا
of profit,
وَلَا
and not
يَمْلِكُونَ
they have power over
مَوْتًۭا
death
وَلَا
nor
حَيَوٰةًۭ
over life,
وَلَا
and not
نُشُورًۭا
over transmission.
٢٥
٣
وَٱتَّخَذُوا۟ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ ءَالِهَةًۭ لَّا يَخْلُقُونَ شَيْـًۭٔا وَهُمْ يُخْلَقُونَ وَلَا يَمْلِكُونَ لِأَنفُسِهِمْ ضَرًّۭا وَلَا نَفْعًۭا وَلَا يَمْلِكُونَ مَوْتًۭا وَلَا حَيَوٰةًۭ وَلَا نُشُورًۭا And they take from inferior to Him, masters who cannot create a thing, whereas they themselves are the created ones, and not they have capacity for themselves of harm nor of profit, and not they have power over death nor over life, and not over transmission.

Yet they choose beside Him other gods who create naught but are themselves created, and possess not hurt nor profit for themselves, and possess not death nor life, nor power to raise the dead. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Yet they have taken gods besides Him who create nothing and have themselves been created, and who have no control over their own harm or benefit and have no control over [their own] death, life, or resurrection. - Qarai, Ali Quli

اور ان لوگوں نے خدا کو چھوڑ کر ایسے خدا بنالئے ہیں جو کسی بھی شے کے خالق نہیں ہیں بلکہ خود ہی مخلوق ہیں اور خود اپنے واسطے بھی کسی نقصان یا نفع کے مالک نہیں ہیں اور نہ ان کے اختیار میں موت و حیات یا حشر و نشر ہی ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

لوگوں نے اُسے چھوڑ کر ایسے معبود بنا لیے جو کسی چیز کو پیدا نہیں کرتے بلکہ خود پیدا کیے جاتے ہیں، جو خود اپنے لیے بھی کسی نفع یا نقصان کا اختیار نہیں رکھتے، جو نہ مار سکتے ہیں نہ جِلا سکتے ہیں، نہ مرے ہوئے کو پھر اٹھا سکتے ہیں - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور لوگوں نے اس کے سوا اور خدا ٹھہرالیے کہ وہ کچھ نہیں بناتے اور خود پیدا کیے گئے ہیں اور خود اپنی جانوں کے برے بھلے کے مالک نہیں اور نہ مرنے کا اختیار نہ جینے کا نہ اٹھنے کا، - Ahmed Raza
