(Saying): If ye do good, ye do good for your own souls, and if ye do evil, it is for them (in like manner). So, when the time for the second (of the judgments) came (We roused against you others of Our slaves) to ravage you, and to enter the Temple even as they entered it the first time, and to lay waste all that they conquered with an utter wasting. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

اب تم نیک عمل کرو گے تو اپنے لئے اور برا کرو گے تو اپنے لئے کرو گے-اس کے بعد جب دوسرے وعدہ کا وقت آگیا تو ہم نے دوسری قوم کو مسلّط کردیا تاکہ تمہاری شکلیں بگاڑ دیں اور مسجد میں اس طرح داخل ہوں جس طرح پہلے داخل ہوئے تھے اور جس چیز پر بھی قابو پالیں اسے باقاعدہ تباہ و برباد کردیں - Jawadi, Zeeshan

دیکھو! تم نے بھلائی کی تو وہ تمہارے اپنے ہی لیے بھلائی تھی، اور برائی کی تو وہ تمہاری اپنی ذات کے لیے برائی ثابت ہوئی پھر جب دوسرے وعدے کا وقت آیا تو ہم نے دوسرے دشمنوں کو تم پر مسلط کیا تاکہ وہ تمہارے چہرے بگاڑ دیں اور مسجد (بیت المقدس) میں اُسی طرح گھس جائیں جس طرح پہلے دشمن گھسے تھے اور جس چیز پر ان کا ہاتھ پڑے اُسے تباہ کر کے رکھ دیں - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اگر تم بھلائی کرو گے اپنا بھلا کرو گے اور اگر بُرا کرو گے تو اپنا، پھر جب دوسری بار کا وعدہ آیا کہ دشمن تمہارا منہ بگاڑ دیں اور مسجد میں داخل ہوں جیسے پہلی بار داخل ہوئے تھے اور جس چیز پر قابو پائیں تباہ کرکے برباد کردیں، - Ahmed Raza
